Haitian Folkloric Dances are among the richest in the Caribbean, with over 100 specific and deeply significant dances. At Se Pam Collectives, we focus on familiar ones like Kongo, Nago, Petwo, Ibo, and Yanvalou. Classes include recorded music and live drumming for a well-rounded understanding of rhythms and their role in the dances.
Introduced to drumming at a young age, well-versed in various styles. Specialized in Djembe and Haitian rhythms.
Alexander Spires, a Tallahassee native, discovered his passion for percussion at 15. Experienced in various instruments.
